 CONSTITUENCY NEWS

Reg Smith

Reg SmithCouncillor Reg Smith died on 21st July 2008 after a long battle with cancer. Reg served on Stevenage Borough Council for thirty two years.

Reg’s contribution to Stevenage was outstanding and quite extraordinary. He was widely admired and respected by all who came into contact with him, a wonderful person to work with, a wise man with vision and a fighter to the very end.

He worked tirelessly for our town and its people, which he loved. His compassion, wisdom, values and friendship will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his wife Valerie, daughter Katherine, son Graham and his five grandchildren.
